Forever Changes

Selected by the Danish Embassy to represent Denmark at COP26 the show title Forever Changes opened at Street Level Photoworks in cental Glasgow. Six large scale prints depicting glaciers from six continents were at display each landscape emphasizing the global reach of glacial recession and climate change.

The exhibition ‘Forever Changes’ brought together a selection of Nordic artists whose work comes face to face with the environment, climate change and ecology. The various photographic tableaux differ in approach and at times intersect – reflections upon nature, from the poetic and conceptual, documentary storytelling to the making of art from a more activist practice that aims to transform our attitudes and habits.

In addition to the gallery show Thymann initiated a petition that was launched simultaneously public petition to classify greenhouse gases as pollutants. This was supported by public billboards on show in Glasgow during the summit.
